HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

1/1/2015 – HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We hope that all of our family and friends have a very prosperous and fulfilling year in 2015.  After spending a very enjoyable month in Tucson AZ we have arrived in Apache Junction AZ, which will be our home for the next three months.  At first look we are very pleased with Superstition Lookout RV Resort where we will stay until April 1^st as we have an amazing view from our porch of the Superstition Mountains which are currently covered with snow.  We will miss the really wonderful people at Mission View RV Resort in Tucson and take with us so many fond memories of the weekly BBQ’s,  ice cream socials and bingo, Karaoke night were of course I performed magnificently, Christmas dinner and the icing on the cake was a rocking New Years Eve party on our last night.  The experiences really helped fill the void of our first holiday away from family and we are very thankful to all the wonderful friends we made.  We did feel very much at home on New Year’s Eve as we left the party after midnight to the frigid night air and the snow falling from the sky.  Yes, I did say snow as in the white stuff that almost never falls in southern Arizona.  Seems like this December has set records for rain and cold in southern Arizona  and Chippy reminds me daily that I did promised to take her where it is warm, as she bundles up each morning to walk the dogs…..LOL….stay tuned for our continuing adventures in sunny Arizona.  Love and best wishes to all….
